We’re fresh off a ten-day vacation from visiting our families back in Wisconsin, which means this post will contain several deep thoughts – some of questionable importance. (Insert smile here.) I noticed a flurry of articles on the web about dads and entrepreneurship as we headed into Father’s Day weekend. And since I’m on my own journey of entrepreneurism with the kids, I took the time to read through as many of them as I could.
Welcome to AdVentures, our newest series on the blog. In this column, we’ll take a closer look at our family’s entrepreneurial venture of the month. We’ve already hosted a thrift sale and a coffee stand and made and sold homemade chocolate bars as well. Rumors of future projects such as publishing a children’s book and making custom cakes can be neither confirmed nor denied.
