The Bottom Line: June, 2012

The Bottom Line is a series that was first introduced on the Shafer…Power! blog in April, 2012.  Whereas the business definition of bottom line is “the line in a financial statement that shows net income or loss,” here we do a brief recap of our progress toward our goals.  Since “Earn Some Spare Change” is our fourth goal, we’ll provide an update on our actual bottom line as well. Taco Wagon Success

Welcome to AdVentures.  In this series, we’ll take a closer look at our family’s entrepreneurial venture of the month.  We’ve already hosted a thrift sale, a coffee stand and made and sold homemade chocolate bars.  For June’s event, which was inspired by Torchy,  we sold tacos using our children’s wagon.  As with all AdVentures, the goal is to have some fun with the kids and learn more about entrepreneurism.
